VOKERA LAUNCHES NEW OPEN VENT BOILER
Leading boiler manufacturer Vokera is set to unveil its first open vent condensing boiler, to meet demand in this mature but growing market that now accounts for around 20- 25% of the total wall hung boiler market.
Traditionally Vokera has always been a sealed system boiler manufacturer but it has invested heavily in expanding its range and the Mynute VHE will meet a growing market need. Launched in February, it is based on Vokera’s popular Mynute HE range, and will help to ensure Vokera has a boiler to suit every need and application.
The Mynute VHE is a condensing boiler which has a Sedbuk A rating and offers the latest Vokera technology. With a range of intelligent controls this boiler is energy efficient and its features make for easy installation. Brand manager Eleanor Waldron said:
“Vokera was the first manufacturer to introduce a fully dedicated sealed system boiler to the UK market, and this proved extremely popular. Now we are launching the open vented equivalent to provide our customers with an even greater choice when they want to retain an open vented circuit.”
The Mynute VHE has compact dimensions, making it ideal in a home where space is an issue. This new product has a high modulation ratio and lower and upper pipe connections.
Many of the fittings on the Mynute VHE are flexible so they can connect in the same places as the existing fittings. For householders this can mean that the Mynute VHE boiler can still be sited in the same place as the one it is replacing, meaning less disruption in the home.
The flue terminal position is flexible so the Mynute VHE can be sited almost anywhere. This is particularly useful if the old flue terminal position is no longer practical or legal, pipework in the Mynute VHE boiler can also exit at the top or the bottom. For fitters, the flexibility of the Mynute VHE boiler means that installing it is straightforward and simple.
The new Mynute VHE 20KW is being launched at the beginning of February. Other outputs will follow later in the year.
