Quality and style on a budget

Working to a tight budget doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice quality and style. Mira Showers offers an exciting collection of mixer shower ranges to cater for this end of the market. The Discovery range, launched just over a year ago and proving very popular, was joined at the end of 2006 by three completely new ranges – Silver, Element and Coda.

The new models open new market opportunities by offering a range of mixer showers that combine unrivalled expertise in mixer technology with affordable prices for customers wanting maximum style.   Mira Silver and Mira Element are single sequential control models, while Mira Coda is a dual control, bar valve model.

Consumer’s choice in showering equipment is becoming more sophisticated.  Now over 70% of all mixer controls are thermostatic and customers are also looking to achieve a consistent style with all the equipment in their bath or shower room.  The   three new models offer full thermostatic control with control to within +/-1•5º C of the set level, a maximum temperature stop for safe showering and can work on all types of hot water systems:  gravity, combi boilers or pressurised hot water.

The Element and Silver models have a single combined flow and temperature control and are available in exposed or built in valve configurations. The Coda bar valve model has two separate controls for flow and temperature and comes as an exposed valve only.   Styling and the chrome finish of all the models is clean and modern to complement today’s trends in bathroom design   The new complementary shower fittings also matches the style of the new showers and includes a choice of adjustable height handsets and fixed shower heads.

The Discovery series offers two mixer control formats – concentric and dual control. These are both available as exposed or built in controls with matching fittings. Both valve formats give full thermostatic and flow control. Each has contemporary styling with the shower fittings and fixed heads picking up the design of each shower mixer. A choice of shower handsets have rub-clean nozzles, a choice of four spray patterns and a large deluge shower head is also available.

“The demand for showers is expanding through all parts of the UK market,” said Dan Brohn, Mira’s marketing  director. “That means buyers at the entry level are of course looking for affordable prices, but they also want a great looking shower without sacrificing performance or safety.  That is just what we have delivered with the new Mira Element, Silver and Coda ranges and the Discovery series.”
