GLOW-WORM OPENS ABERDEEN TRAINING SCHOOL
High efficiency leader Glow-worm has opened up its 11th regional Training Centre in Aberdeen. The move gives Glow-worm installers a full nationwide training provision, allowing quick and easy access to the latest training procedures and techniques.
The existing Training centres are in Caerphilly, Exeter, Glasgow, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Norwich, Portsmouth, Sittingbourne, Stockton-on-Tess and now Aberdeen – taking the total number of Glow-worm-dedicated training locations to 11, including the company’s bespoke facilities at its Belper headquarters.
“Our aim is to give every UK installer access to our Training centres which are within an hour or so travelling time. We have steadily devoted resources – both personnel and financial investment – to Training facilities and courses. The industry and today’s installer needs this from major manufacturers’ such as Glow-worm,” says Paul Jakeway Marketing Communications Manager for the company.
“At the Aberdeen centre installers will receive ‘hands-on’ training on the latest high efficiency boilers – both the xi and Flexicom ranges. Installers will see just how easy both ranges are to install, commission and maintain. The Aberdeen Training Centre has been specifically designed – like all other Centres – to be a relaxed, informative and informal environment. Not only will an installer learn lots of useful information on the latest boiler technology, but they also receive a full reference pack, training and technical data sheets,” adds Paul Jakeway for the company.
Glow-worm’s training courses provide an ideal opportunity for installers to get themselves up-to-speed on the company’s expanding range of High Efficiency boilers – an area in which Glow-worm excels in terms of both product innovation and installation, commissioning and servicing training.
Installers can choose from the Certificate in Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating; High Efficiency Product Training and Standard Efficiency Product Training.
