GLOW-WORM OFFERS LPG MODELS IN HIGH EFFICIENCY ENERGY SAVINGS
Glow-worm offers a complete LPG choice in its proven xi High Efficiency range of Sedbuk A rated and low NoX boilers. All three models are in 30kW outputs– in all three main variants – heating-only, combi and system.
The Glow-worm 30hxi, 30cxi and 30sxi in LPG variant are all proven products with thousands of successful and trouble-free installations.
All three versions simply need an adjustment at installation to be converted, ready for LPG use.
“The installer simply makes a specific valve adjustment and that’s it,” says Paul Jakeway for Glow-worm. He adds that the installer, for safe working practises, will need to have a flue gas analyser to monitor that the installation to LPG mode is correct.
The 30hxi LPG high efficiency condensing boiler has class-leading output for a boiler of its size and it measures just 600mm high by 375mm wide and 334mm deep.
This SEDBUK ‘A’ rated boiler, the highest energy efficiency rating possible, weighs in at just 31.5Kg – a one-man lift. The 30hxi as well as being one of the most efficient is possibly one of the easiest boilers on the market to site, with zero compartment ventilation required and flexible flueing up to a massive 10m horizontal and vertical and 40m twin flue.
The Glow-worm 30cxi in LPG delivers high performance heating and hot water and is as easy to install as any conventional boiler. It offers extensive flueing capability and an impressive 5-Second hot water response from a highly reliable and easy to fit appliance.
The Glow-worm 30cxi is small and so gives excellent installation flexibility. It is built on the advanced common platform of all Glow-worm products that provides for interchangeable parts across the whole range – “So if you can fit one, you can fit them all,” adds Paul Jakeway.
The 30cxi incorporates a reliable, primary stainless steel heat exchanger, already proven. Domestic hot water is produced from the reassuring stainless steel plate heat exchanger at a flow rate of up to 12.3litres/minute @ 35oC rise. A pre-heat facility gives an impressive five-second hot water response while still maintaining quiet operation.
Extensive flueing options, allowing greater flexibility in installation, are a feature on all Glow-worm boilers. A massive 10m Horizontal and 10m Vertical flueing is available on the 30cxi and there is a 40m twin flue capability.
The Glow-worm 30sxi LPG system model shares many of the common features and benefits.
Fitted as standard are an in-built by-pass, frost protection and anti-seize controls. The 30sxi is fully modulating and comes complete with pump, expansion vessel and safety discharge valve.
