GLOW-WORM INTRODUCES CONDENSATE PUMP

Glow-worm has launched a condensate pump to further enhance siting flexibility on its expanding range of High Efficiency domestic heating boilers – the newest addition being the Flexicom range.
The condensate pump improves the siting options for all Glow-worm condensing boilers, allowing them to be installed in places with restricted access to condensate drains - a basement, for example.
Once connected, the condensate from the boiler is fed into the pump where it is stored. Once the fill-level is reached, the reservoir pump will discharge the condensate in one go. In the unlikely event of the condensate pump becoming too full, the overflow safety switch will shut the boiler down and the pump’s LED display will go red to indicate a fault.
The new Glow-worm condensate pump is compatible with every boiler in its High Efficiency range but it shares a number of similarities with Glow-worm’s latest addition – the Flexicom range as it is a compact product and amazingly flexible.
There are many features and benefits to the new Glow-worm Condensate Pump. It is ideal for sites where the installation site is remote from the waste drain system. The pump allows the condensate to be pumped upwards back into the waste system. The maximum vertical pump height is 4m and the pump comes equipped with a 6m discharge hose for connecting the pump to the waste water system.
As condensate is stored within the pump until the fill level is reached, the pump operates efficiently rather than as a continuous operation. The compact size of the condensate pump means it is suitable for installations where space is limited. The pump is also supplied with a wall-mounting bracket if it needs to be secured. The condensate pump is fitted with an overflow safety switch, this will shut the boiler down if condensate levels within the pump get too high or if the pump was to break down.
The condensate pump is compatible with all Glow-worm High Efficiency boilers (the Flexicom range, the xi range and the Xtramax HE) so no matter what the model is, the condensate pump will allow even greater siting flexibility.
The SEDBUK ‘A’ rated new Flexicom range of combi, heating only and system boilers can be installed almost anywhere. The Flexicom range is the only condensing boiler with a direct rear flue option as well as horizontal, vertical and twin flue options.
Similarly, the condensate pump from Glow-worm is also amazingly flexible as it allows installation of the boiler in areas with restricted access to a condensate drain, such as a basement.
As well as being a flexible boiler to site, the Flexicom possesses the smallest installation footprint in its class. The small case size also means every model in the range can be installed inside a standard kitchen wall cupboard.
Following this theme, the new condensate pump from Glow-worm is the smallest condensate pump available on the market measuring just 160mm (h) x 180mm (w) x 100mm (d).

Can you run the pressure relief valve into this pump.
