GLOW-WORM’S TRAVELLING HIGH EFFICIENCY ROADSHOW, COMING TO A MERCHANT NEAR YOU SOON……
Glow-worm’s high efficiency xi range and the newly introduced Flexicom rear-flued boiler form just part of a travelling show which is holding morning training sessions for both installers and merchant counter staff up and down the country.
A fleet of long-wheel based Transits’ have been kitted out with the latest Glow-worm boiler products and accessories such as the Condensate Pump and innovative Plume Management Kit. On show for training are examples from the hxi and cxi ranges plus the Flexicom cx and hx. The vans are touring the whole of the UK with the aim of holding at least one training session in each merchant branch around the UK.
The first in the year-long roadshow have already been held with both installers and merchants voting it an outright success.
Says one merchant,”It is great for our installer customers-when they come in for their materials they see the van in the yard and just naturally wander over to it. Glow-worm staff are on hand to explain everything in detail. All the boiler products are wall-hung so the installers can take the casing off and closely inspect the inner workings and components. And during any quieter periods for the counter staff they too can nip out and get themselves totally acquainted with the products so that they can give full and impartial advice to installers.”
For Glow-worm Mick Dickson, Regional Sales Manager, says,”Virtually every installer that came into the first merchant training session we held were keen to get more and more product knowledge, especially on the new Flexicom range. It’s a great way of meeting all of our individual installer customers”.
“This type of flexible training is really meeting their needs. Its two-birds-with-one-stone really, they come into the merchant for materials and are able to see the latest and best that Glow-worm has to offer in the High Efficiency marketplace. It isn’t designed to replace formal classroom Training sessions but rather to be an addition in a very convenient way.”
This move represents a major and significant investment by Glow-worm with more Training initiatives expected to be announced shortly.
