Glow-worm offers a full domestic heating system design service for all contract installations. Glow-worm’s design service is aimed at making life easier for designers working with social housing, housebuilders, heating installation contractors, energy managers – any sector requiring bespoke domestic heating system design.
The Glow-worm Design Service has its own dedicated staff who liaise directly with the contractor, architect and overall site. The Service works from architects’ plans and results in complete CAD drawings, a schedule of works and materials to complete the installations.
“We use the latest software to calculate whole house heat losses/gains, hot water requirements, number of radiators etc so that any site maximises the efficiency of its heating system and allows maximum efficiency of the products employed,” says Pippa Wibberley for Glow-worm.
“We will also advise on the best type of boiler – combi, system or heating-only plus hot water cylinder - and size of output needed to meet all expected hot water and heating needs.
