FURTHER HONEYWELL INSTALLER TRAINING COURSES IN 2006

Honeywell will run a further 30 further intensive one-day Installer Training Courses from August to December 2006 throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. They combine theory, practical wiring and fault finding exercises, and guidance on sales techniques to help installers boost profits.
They provide continuing support for the Professional Development Programme of the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering and the Institute of Domestic Heating and Environmental Engineers.
The courses cover all aspects of heating controls installation and energy conservation, including the amendments to Part L of the Building Regulations. Installers receive guidance on the selection and installation of industry-standard S and Y Plans, the alternative C, W and S+ Plans, CM Zone – the new wireless control system which zones a building with radio control of each radiator –and the established low-voltage Smartfit control system.
Course details, a booking form and an up-to-date list of dates and locations can be viewed online at http://www.honeywelluk.com/ Enquiries and bookings can also be made by telephone on 01344 656352.
Courses also include wiring to combi boilers, use of wired and wireless RF programmable room thermostats. Methods are considered for bringing older systems up to modern Building Regulation standards as required in Part L1.
At just £30 the courses represent excellent value for installers, who will be much better informed about many topics essential to the success of their business. The price includes a comprehensive training manual and lunch.
