Fifas and Marstair team up
Fifas Ltd have selected Marstair Ltd to manufacture the FIFOS range of electric boilers which are now being specified and being fitted in properties all around the UK.
The FIFOS boiler uses a patented electric injector system to heat water for a wet central heating system and is suitable for underfloor or radiator installations.
One of the key advantages the FIFOS boiler has over other electric boilers on the market is the PCB controlled modulation system which means the boiler can accurately match its output to the demand at any time. This ensures the shortest heat up time, eliminates overshoot and combined with the latest Economy tariffs now available reduces running costs to economic and affordable levels.
The FIFOS boiler is ideal for apartments and houses with no access to mains gas supplies and properties with mains gas boiler restrictions e.g. listed buildings and bed-sit sleeping areas. It is also being specified for social housing as it provides all the benefits of wet central heating systems and eliminates the health and safety issues associated with gas, oil or coal fired boilers.
Marstair, who are accredited to ISO9001 (quality) and ISO14001 (environmental) standards, have set up a dedicated production line within their air conditioning factory for assembling and testing the boilers and currently have capacity to produce over 100 boilers per week.
Currently the boilers are available ex stock from the Fifas distributors Scottish Hydro (part of the Scottish & Southern Energy Group) and Ecolec Innovations.
