A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO CUT WATER WASTAGE IN DOMESTIC, PUBLIC AND COMMERCIAL PREMISES

Water consumption in domestic and commercial premises can be reduced greatly simply by fitting a Honeywell pressure reducing valve.

The water pressure to many premises is much higher than necessary.  This contributes to water wastage, as more water flows to waste while taps are left running to wash hands and brush teeth, for example.  A Honeywell pressure control valve on the supply provides a simple, efficient and cost-effective means to reduce water pressure within the system and so reduce consumption. 

A Honeywell pressure control valve also minimises flow noise and protects installations from damage caused by excessive pressure.  Connections on hoses to appliances are less likely to leak.  Users are also unlikely to be drenched when they use hand basins.

Honeywell manufactures pressure reducing valves with DN15 to DN50 (½ inch to 2 inch) compression fittings or screwed connections and brass-bodies for the heating and plumbing market. Flanged valves with cast iron bodies up to DN600 (24 inch) diameter are available to reduce overall water pressure to multi-dwelling buildings and industrial and commercial premises; small valves, as described above, can also be installed to control flows to individual floors or sub-units.

Honeywell pressure reducing valves feature an integral fine filter to protect the valve insert, which is fully serviceable.  They also feature a balanced seat design and drop-tight seal, which hold the outlet pressure constant, day and night, even when there is wide inlet pressure fluctuation.
